Søjus1 is a band from Dresden that combines jazzy, complex drum rhythms with psychedelic synth sequences, drones, and low-fi samples. The two band members Ralf Müller-Hoffmann and Simon Arnold count Cinematic Orchestra, DJ Shadow, Massive Attack, but also Pink Floyd, and Philip Glass among their most important influences.

The track 'Pyng' is part of their album 'ORWO' released in March 2021.

This two-track EP consists of two remixes by Hannes Smith. Whereas the main remix is heavily 2-step driven and more melodic, the dubbed-out tool edit might find its way into some more dub techno-driven DJ mixes.
